Lana Okerlund, Senior Editor of Room magazine, Canada’s oldest literary journal by and for women, will be speaking to us on the importance of submitting to Canadian literary journals. Lana will explain how publishing your short stories, poems and novel excerpts in these journals will help you hone your craft, build a portfolio, learn more about the author-editor relationship and establish your relationship with agents and publishers.
